PMA Cares

Our Company and Our Employees in the Community

Prudent Management Associates has a 40-year history of supporting cultural, arts, and human service organizations throughout the Philadelphia area and the East Coast – whether through board or committee membership, direct financial support, or volunteer hours.

We have a long relationship with Settlement Music School, which provides exceptional arts education to Greater Philadelphia area students through its six branches. PMA routinely contributes as a sponsor of their annual galas, including as an “Innovator Sponsor” of their 114th Anniversary Gala in 2022. PMA’s cofounder Ed Snitzer was a longtime member of the Board and endowed the Gail W. Snitzer Advanced Study String Quartet. Fred Snitzer served on the Board of the school’s Mary Louise Curtis Branch on Queen Street.

PMA’s partners and employees are also engaged in their communities. Examples include:

Astral Artists

Fred Snitzer, managing director, is a member of the Board at Astral Artists, Philadelphia. Astral is a nonprofit intensive mentoring program that specializes in developing the early careers of classical musicians. The program concentrates its resources on a small number of rising-star soloists and chamber ensembles with the potential to be change-makers and influencers.

JDRF

Richard J.T. (Jonesy) Lerch, managing director, has been active with the JDRF since 1997 and is currently a member of the Board of Chancellors of the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter. Jonesy has chaired the chapter’s largest fundraiser, the JDRF One Walk, and the annual gala. His family’s One Walk team has been one of the area’s top fundraising teams for years.

As a member of the Women’s Council, Barbara recruits new volunteers and leads and participates in fundraising activities.
